The Absence of Colour:

The Absence of Colour

The absence of colour in graphic design is just as important as the presence of colour. Before colour is added, a design must successfully translate across the negative space of the colour spectrum to ensure it's effective in its intent. The merging of no colour (white) with all colour (black) results in grey—an achromatic colour that literally means a colour without colour.

Less is Morse: Based on Morse Code as a communications system, this design comprises of the most commonly used letters of the English language—E and T, represented by a dot and dash, respectively. Emphasising the importance of simplicity in everyday communication, allowing for messages to be conveyed and understood clearly, timely and succinctly. Less is Morse.
