Somersault Pike Film

Somersault Pike is a film by Australian director Kate Lefoe, and an official selection of the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival. Vertigo was engaged to design the film poster.

Synopsis: Dark fears and high hopes drive a young competitive diver as she faces the 10-metre platform.

The poster successfully conveys the mood of the film, translating its tension and ambiguity into a memorable design through a strong focus on symbolism and storytelling.

“It was an absolute delight to work with Vertigo. Showing a thorough understanding and appreciation of art house cinema combined with the aesthetics of my film, Mirella and Nicolas were able to capture Somersault Pike's essence in a bold and memorable poster. They were a pleasure to work with due to their excellent communication skills and always a timely delivery.”
